The 2016 Bella Union opens with inviting aromas of black cherry, dark plum, blueberry and cassis with intimations of warm oak, vanilla and baking spices. Expansive fruit-forward plum, black cherry and blueberry flavors coat the mid palate followed by notes of toasted oak, cinnamon and nutmeg. Supple tannins and bright acidity pave the way to a mouthwatering finish.

This well-structured blend has the same characteristics you have comets expect from the Big Easy. It’s rich dark fruit flavors with a touch of oak and soft tannins that lead to a long lengthy finish.
Nickel & Nickel, Sullenger Vineyard, Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley
This is the sustainable sister winery to Far Niente. This wine offers blackberry, black cherry and earthy characters which blends beautifully on the palate. The supple tannins coupled with the oak give a strong supportive backbone to this wine as it carries through a long memorable finish.
Louis Martini, Cabernet Sauvignon, Alexander Valley
This wine is terroir driven with aromas and flavors of blackberries, tobacco & all spice notes balanced with expressions of toasty vanilla oak. The layers and intensity of flavors evolve into a plush lingering finish with velvety tannins abound and linger on the long clean acid finish.

Reserved aromas of dark red fruit and damp soil show on the shy nose of this bottling. The flavors are also a little flat, with wet clay red fruit and sharp acidity most prominent.

This small production Pinot is aged 10 months in French oak and 30% of it is new. It is a delightful Burgundian style Pinot which delivers distinctive character of black/sour cherry and spice in a vibrant elegant way. Offering the right balance of tannin and acid. The finish is long lasting with finesse and elegance.
